Play in the MSO

The MSO is looking for new members! Do you play an instrument that belongs to a symphony orchestra?

Playing in a symphony orchestra is a lot of fun. We are an active and close group of about 30 musicians aging from 16 to 30. During the rehearsals we of course try our best, but we also have a lot of fun together during rehearsals or at the organised activities.

Meet us
If you would like to see what it is like to play with us, you are very welcome to join one of our rehearsals on the Monday evenings. The rehearsals take place in the Vrijhof at the campus of the University of Twente, from 19:30 until 22:00. After the rehearsal we like to go to the Sports Centre to have a drink.

Do you want to come by once or play with us? Or do you have any questions? Contact us at info@mso.utwente.nl and we will gladly help you further.

Musician without an instrument?
For students who would like to play in an orchestra but who don’t possess an instrument, there is the possibility to rent an instrument at the Campus Instruments Fund (CIF). Currently, the collection of CIF consists of approximately 15 string and wind instruments. More information can be obtained by mailing info@mso.utwente.nl.
