Succesful summer concerts

Last week, two beautiful concerts were performed to close the season! The cooperation between Peter Bogaert and the orchestra resulted in two satisfying concerts. In both the Audiozaal and the Jacobuskerk, the MSO proved to be capable of entertaining the audience with the royal program.

We hope to see you again during our winterconcerts!

Rehearsal weekend MSO in Holten

During the weekend of may 25 till may 27, the MSO experienced a pleasant and productive rehearsal weekend at camping farm "De Zuurberg" in Holten! The combination of the beautiful weather and the idyllic countryside yielded optimal conditions for the preparation of the upcoming concerts.

Special thanks go out to the VraXie for organising a hike throught the beautiful nature in Twente!

Apollo Open Stage

On tuesday the first of May, the string quartet represented the orchestra at the Open Stage, organised by Apollo, the umbrella association of cultural activities of the UT.
Two works were performed: the second movement of the American Stringquartet by Antonín Dvořák and a Harry Potter medley, based on the film music written by John Williams. The medley was arranged by our own violist Tanja Poslawsky!

It was a great opportunity for the string quartet to play for a large audience. Furthermore, performances by other cultural associations were viewed.

Chamber music evening

Wednesday 18th of April, a chamber music evening was organised. It was a great evening with a lot of beautiful pieces performed by several members of the orchestra. The winner of the one and only houseplant was the string quartet.
